Who applies for GST registration?
GST Practitioner is a tax risk approved by the Government and authorized by the taxpayer to perform other duties based on the details of the representative of the observer.
Provide details of the external supply under section 37 and the internal supply under section 38; Submit monthly and quarterly file under section 39, with annual and final refund under section 44
Apply for cancellation or amendment of registration
Apply for a GST refund.
GST Terms of Service
Any Indian citizen with the required qualifications should be of sound mind or should not be judged as insolvent. To qualify as a GST manager, a person must be:
A retired official of the Business Tax Department of any State or CBEC Government, who has served as a Group-B (or higher) gazette manager for a period of not less than two years.
Tax Return Taxpayer or Sales Tax Officer registered for a period of not less than five years
Postgraduate or postgraduate degree in Commerce, Law, Banking including Higher Auditing, or Business Administration or Business Management from any Indian University established by any law at the time applicable;
Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant or Company Secretary
Registration Process As a GST Manager
Step 1 - Browse www.gst.gov.in
Step 2 - Select Services - Registration and click on ‘New Registration’
Step 3 - It will take you to the 'New Registration' page to start the GST Registration process.
In the ‘I am a’ drop-down menu, select GST Practitioner and then Select Country and Region from the drop-down menu.
Enter your name, PAN, email address and mobile number
Enter the captcha code
Finally Click the 'Continue' button
After verification, you will be redirected to the OTP verification page
Step 4 - Enter 2 different OTPs found in email and mobile number. Click the 'Continue' button.
Step 5 - This will generate TRN and click the 'Continue' button.
Step 6 - Now enter TRN and Captcha and click on the 'Proceed' Button.
Step 7 - Enter all the information required by this section and upload the documents in .pdf and .jpeg format. Click on 'Submit' on the Verification page
There are 2 ways that an application can be submitted:
DSC - Submit an application using the DSC token. Make sure emSigner (from Mudra) is installed on your laptop and DSC is registered on the website
EVC and E-signature - You will receive 2 OTP's, one on a mobile number connected to Aadhaar and the other on an email ID. Enter OPT’s and submit a request
this is the only basic GST registration in Coimbatore process for the operator. Once you have applied for GST registration one can follow the status of the application
